Here We Go....

Yeah so I had another LiveJournal page but I was just off to a bad start with it.. So here I am with a new one. I wanted to create a blog so that I could update everyone on things that were going on in my life. I don't always get a chance to communicate with everyone directly so I figured this might be a good way to start.

For those of you that don't know, (which I would say is pretty few) I am now living back in
New Hampshire, and have been back since the end of June. I have "technically" found a job in Portsmouth, however, have not heard back yet concerning the background check. I have never been arrested or anything so I don't see there being a problem with it. But I do need a paycheck soon cause I REALLY need to start paying my bills again.

Because I don't have a job, my life, or lack there of, has been pretty slow. I don't have much gas money to go anywhere, so that limits any recreational activities. I did go and hang out with my friend, Heather, and her two little girls, Gillian and Emma. We went out for lunch and then went bowling. It was a blast. And there was also a movie night at Heather’s with her and her fiancé, Wallace. I am hopefully going out next week with John, and I am really looking forward to that. I’ve gone swimming a few times with Justin, and floated down the
Cocheco River a couple times as well. The second one was not as fun as the first, and Justin’s poison ivy is starting to go away…

I’ve visited my brother, Mike, a few times (maybe that’s why the background check hasn’t come back….) and have enjoyed the entertainment at the Brewster House. Never a dull moment there, though it hasn’t made the papers since I’ve been back…could be that Mike told all the tenants that I was security and they better pay their rent…HAHA.

I have seen my grandparents a bit and had an interesting visit last week. I went in the front door and went to give my grandmother a kiss and she had no idea who I was. She thought I was trying to sell her magazines. My grandmother claimed that she had been sleeping, and my grandfather told her she was losing it, to which she promptly replied “Oh, shut up, Jimmy”. I have been informed though that she has been regularly looking at my photo so that she will recognize me the next time I visit. Hahaha.

I haven’t yet had the chance to get over to the Manchester area yet, to visit Dad and some of my friends over there. I’m going to have to wait until I get a paycheck and can have gas money. I hate being unemployed. (And yes, Dad, I know, this was my choice….)

In spite of being unemployed, having no money, no gas in my car, a lack of a life, and so forth, I am actually very glad to be back in New Hampshire. I have missed everyone a great deal since I’ve been gone, and am very excited to meet up with people that I haven’t seen for years.

I will update you guys as things progress..

Jenn :)
